Attaching grass to your ghillie suit.

I have heard that you should put grass on your ghillie suit, of course, the problem for me is: how do you get it to stand up fairly straight?

[img]tongue.gif[/img] okie....to start off...i see your having the classic problem with the veggies sticking up on your rag suit....well im here to help you understand sum of the more familiar techniques in ghillie making [img]wink.gif[/img]

OK well...first off making veg stand straight is not a good thing. only in the movie's....no experienced sniper, infantry or SOTEC make there veg stand to attention...when you use standing veg it even more blazes your every movement!

if you want natural veg in your ghillie...simply take the desired veg and cut it to the length you want(if needed) once youve done that take it and thread it through the netting leaving about half of the veg sticking out of the veg...let it go were it wants!!!!

now if you wanna debate on anything...and stick with the standing up idea....then try attatching rubber bands to your ghillie....i would not recomend this if you use your ghillie in a hunting base's, military, etc...

Rubber bands tend to snag and make the ghillie evenless un-natural!!
